I finished quilting my King sized Desert Nine Patch Quilt :0)
It is so big (110"X112") that I couldn't fit the whole quilt in the picture-
I quilted it with a pantograph called Fantasia. I am so happy with this quilt...Keepsake Quilting carries a lap size quilt kit for this. But I wanted it large enough for my king size bed so since the pattern was a free download (I think it was a Timeless Treasure pattern) I downloaded the pattern and made it larger in EQ and then I ordered all the same fabrics that the pattern listed with the extra yardage I needed. I started this over 2 (almost 3) years ago. It wasn't a hard quilt to do, all it is, is 9-patches alternated with solid squares of two different neutral fabrics and laid out on point. Which is why it took me so long to do...it was too big for my design wall! Had to do it in sections and of course it got pushed to the side when other projects or the business took center stage. But this one was definitely worth the wait, it is so pretty and I was so shock at how square it turned out (since it was on point, so big and had bias side triangles on it) I thought for sure it would be kind of wonky. But nope it was perfectly square...that's a first, yes even for me who has been doing this for quite some time now- lol
